STORM UPDATE

It is now 4pm and still rocking and rolling like crazy. Our suite is probably about 60 feet above the water line. About 15 minutes ago a wave came up over our balcony. Ship’s engines are at max output but we can only make about 12 kts speed in these huge waves. For that reason the Captain just made an announcement that we will not make the port of Apia, Samoa, tomorrow so we are now proceeding directly to our next scheduled port of Fiji. So now we will be at sea until Sunday but I think we will arrive early due to missing Samoa. Hey, I forecast that we would not make it to Samoa. You cannot imagine how nasty the sea looks and how we are being bucked around out here. Still not sick though so that is good. Hopefully, weather will be better tomorrow. It is going to be an interesting dining experience tonight.
